Executive Biography of Mark D. Bromley

Mark is an equity partner at SLG and serves as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer.  He brings over two decades of executive-level leadership experience in wholesale distribution, manufacturing and retail operations.  Mark’s has served in leadership roles at some of the world’s most respected corporations and market leaders in their respective industries.

As a business leader, Mark is a strong advocate of open-book management and the principles of The Great Game of Business.  He believes the best way to operate a business is to create an environment where employees are empowered to think, act and feel like owners and by tapping into the universal human desire to win.

Mark is truly passionate about people.  His philanthropy started over a decade ago through his affiliation with the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund which honors Americans in our Armed Forces who have sacrificed life or limb defending our country by providing educational scholarships for their children.  Since then, Mark has contributed time and money supporting children’s charities that offer programs and services for children with special needs or with life-threatening medical conditions.  Ronald McDonald House and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are organizations near and dear to his heart.

As the President and CEO at SLG, Mark has established the company’s first strategic corporate-citizenship initiative and has committed to strengthening services and support for millions of veterans and military families throughout America.  SLG has pledged 1% of its earnings to Hidden Heroes, an organization that provides assistance to the 5.5 million military and veteran caregivers in the United States.

A native of Glens Falls, New York, Mark and his teenage son live in Frisco, Texas with his son’s chihuahua.  They are big fans of the Dallas Stars NHL hockey team.
